Velvety Blackcurrant Ice-cream

Ingredients
- 350 g blackcurrants or blueberries, blackberries …
- 50 ml water
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 250 ml condensed milk
Instructions
- In a blender, pulse the blackcurrants, water, honey and lemon juice until purred. Pass the mixture through a sieve to catch larger peeps and pieces.
- Then, In a bowl, combine the condensed milk with the blackcurrant puree and check the sweetness and acidity.
- Transfer into the ninja bowl container and place in the freezer. Set for 12 hours or overnight if possible.
- Place in the machine and press ice-cream churning setting. Enjoy a smooth velvety and delicious ice-cream !

Alternatively, without the ninja Creami machine,
The ingredients are as follow ; 200ml condensed milk
400ml cream, whipped
200ml blackcurrant mixture ( see recipe above) In a large bowl, whisk the cream until lightly whipped. stir in the condensed milk then the black currant puree. Check for sweetness and add a little more condensed milk if you want the ice-cream to be sweeter..
Transfer into a tin or large bowl and place in the freezer for 2-3 hours or overnight to set. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving to enjoy a softer ice-cream.
