Smoked Mackerel Crostini
Make your own crackers by slicing day old bread. They will cook in the oven in 7-8 minutes at 180˚C.

Ingredients
- 1 pack peppered smoked mackerel
- 1 tbsp. crème fraiche
- 2 tbsp. cream cheese
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 1 pack of crackers
- 1 bunch chives to decorate
Instructions
- In a bowl, break the mackerel into pieces. Add the crème fraiche, the cream cheese, and crush with a fork until soften. Check the seasoning.
- Spoon the mackerel pate on the crackers. Zest the lemon over the crostini and drizzle some lemon juice over.
- Just before serving, sprinkle a few chives over the crostini.
- Serve immediately.
