Ingredients
  

  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 50 g smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon powder

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well, store these marinates in an airtight container in your dry stores until you need them.
  • The sugar is a common addition to rubs because it is a flavour enhancer, it helps browning, it helps with crust formation, and it balances bitterness and acidity.
