Ingredients
- 50 g brown sugar
- 50 g smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dried herbs
- ½ tsp. cinnamon powder
Instructions
- In a bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well, store these marinates in an airtight container in your dry stores until you need them.
- The sugar is a common addition to rubs because it is a flavour enhancer, it helps browning, it helps with crust formation, and it balances bitterness and acidity.
