Chilli and Garlic Prawns Aga
Tip; you can use the cast iron grilling pan without the butter for a lighter dinner, cook the prawns for 3-5 minutes on the boiling stovetop or set in the roasting oven on the top shelf

Ingredients
- 1 red chilli chopped
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander or flat leaves parsley
- 50 g butter
- 500 g king prawn tails peeled and raw
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 shallots chopped
- 1 lime juice
- Salt and pepper
To serve
- 80 g Rocket leaves washed
- Fresh crusty bread
Instructions
- In a bowl, place the chilli, lemon zest, garlic, butter, half coriander together. Combine until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine the prawns and oil and season well with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the cast iron pan on the boiling stove top then, add the prawns, shallots and the butter. Cook for 3-5 minutes until cooked through and the butter is foaming and bubbling.
- Remove the prawns from the boiling stove to the simmering stove and squeeze over the juice of lemon. Continue to cookfor a further minute or so and sprinkle with coriander and add extra leftover of butter mixture.
- Toast the bread on the stovetops with the aga toaster rack.
- Place the bread on the serving dish, add salad leaves and spoon the prawns and butter sauce.
