Ingredients
- 4 striploin beef about 1.25" thick
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
- 3 tbsp clarified butter
- 200 g tender stem broccoli
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 200˚C/400°F for 5 minutes.
- Brush with sunflower oil over the steaks on both sides. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Brush the broccoli with some clarified butter or spray with some oil spray.
- Place the steaks into the air fryer baskets with the broccoli. You may have to do it in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the striploin for 5 minutes for rare, 7 minutes for medium or 10 minutes for well done. Flip the steaks halfway through cooking if desired to help better colouration on both sides.
- Remove the broccoli after 5 minutes to ensure they are not overcooked and keep aside nice and warm until the steaks are cooked to your liking.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer and set aside for a moment for the juices to settle.
- Serve the steak with the broccoli and if desired baked potatoes.
