A classic steamed rice aga
add some lime zest for extra strenght
- 225 g Basmati Rice
- 350 ml water
- 2 slices lemon or lime
- Place the Basmati rice into a saucepan fitted with a lid.
- Add the cold water , slices of lemon and a pinch of salt.
- Bring to the boil on a boiling stovetop, stir, and transfer to the floor of the simmering oven for 18-20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, fluff up with a fork and enjoy immediately.
