Air Fryer Oriental Pork Belly Bites

  • 400 g pork belly cut into pieces
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spices
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp pinenuts or peanuts
  • 1 tbsp cashew crunch Rivesci
  • Salad leaves to serve


  • Preheat the air fryer to 210-220˚C or max crisp setting.
  • Season the pork belly pieces with salt and place in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 18-20 minutes until fully cooked and crispy skin has been achieved.
  • In the meantime, combine the soy sauce, 5 spices, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil fish sauce , pinenuts and cashew crush into a glaze. Add some honey and lime if desired to add flavours.
  • Once the pork belly pieces are cooked and crispy, remove from the air fryer and toss in with the glaze.
  • Toss to coat the flavour on the belly bites and serve immediately with salad leaves.
  • Enjoy while piping hot.
