Homemade Crispy Cheese Crackers

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g flour
  • 40 g porridge
  • 50 g mature cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 50 g olive oil or butter
  • 130 g water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients until it comes together.
  • Roll the pastry mixture in-between two parchment sheets for ease and transfer onto a baking tray.
  • Remove the top layer and using a pizza roller or a knife, draw the size of the crackers desired.
  • I did 3cm by 3cm on average.
  • Sprinkle with extra cheese and place in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until coloured and cooked.
  • Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • Break away the crackers from each others and store in a closed container for a few days. It will store for up to 2 weeks without been stale.
