Air-fryer Asian Spices Chicken

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 4 tbsp sweet chilli
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 500 g mash potatoes
  • A few tbsp chilli crush
  • Sesame oil optional


  • Preheat the air fryer to 200˚C.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the corn flour with 1 tbsp of cold water and add the sweet chilli jam, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar. Stir to combine and check the seasoning.
  • Add the chicken pieces and coat the chicken with the mixture. Marinate, if possible, for 10-15 minutes.
  • If desired, spray some oil onto the air fryer basket, then place the pieces of chicken into the basket.
  • Air fry for about 20-25 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through until cooked through and crispy the skin is crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve with mash potatoes and spoon of chilli crush dressing or your favourite side.
