Instructions
Place the Basmati rice into a saucepan fitted with a lid.
Add the cold water , slices of lemon and a pinch of salt.
Bring to the boil on a boiling stovetop, stir, and transfer to the floor of the simmering oven for 18-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, fluff up with a fork and enjoy immediately.
